COZY

COZY - Winter Clothing Drive takes place September - mid December at The Legacy Building

COZY

As the chill of winter descends upon the Twin Cities, we know that many individuals and families are struggling to keep warm. For those without adequate clothing, the cold weather can pose a serious health risk. We feel that it is our responsibility to support our community through our winter coat and clothing drive, COZY.

COZY is a community-based initiative that takes place annually at the Legacy Building. This year, our objective is to provide support to 100 families/individuals and ensure they remain warm and cozy during the harsh winter months.

OUR HISTORY

What began in 2017 as a small coat drive for a local school has grown exponentially in the last six years. Last year in 2022, we collected over 50 coats, 75 mittens and gloves, 60 hats, snow pants, boots, and scarves. These items were distributed to students in neighboring schools such as Marcy, Friendship Academy, Sanford, and Dowling.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
